writes: There's this guy i really like. A few months ago we never really got on, but then i saw him in a different light. I think he likes me to. But there's a problem, he's my best friends older brother. she knows things have been a bit different between us lately but doesn't know i like him, and hasn't caught on that he likes me. I don't want to ruin our friendship, i've known her since we were three years old. Also if she doesn't mind then what should i do. Do i tell him i like him? or what? I think he's to shy to ask me out, and i definitely am to shy to ask him. i'm also not sure if it'll work.i'm scared there will be awkwardness between the three of us, plus i'm thirteen and he's sixteen and left school this year. Can someone please help me?

reader, anonymous, writes (19 July 2006): You can't hide your feelings, be it your best friends brother or not. If she is truely your friend she will understand, and nothing should be that awkward between you that she will not want to be your friend anymore. But their are still boundaries, like don't go over to your friends house and ignore her because your with her brother... that's a major no no and a definite friendship ruiner!

 Omg youre exactly the same as me. I also like my best friends brother only we kiss and things and my best friend and him both know how much i like him. I found it easier once they both knewonly hes 15 and im only 14 but age isnt really an issue if you really like each other. Be careful though and whatch out for players. lol mail me and let me know how u r and stuff x x x
