writes:I am 7 weeks pregnant, me and my husband were wondering what may we see on our 8 weeks scan which i will be having next wednesday. Will it be an ultrasound and will i be able to hear a heart beat. I have had a scan at 6 weeks and could see my baby and saw the flickering of the heartbeat. Love.Life is verified as being by the original poster of the question Just an update on my situation, unfortunatly i lost my baby in April, i was found to be 12 weeks and 5 days. We've been trying ever since, however no luck. :'(

 congrats on being pregnant...Im 20 weeks pregnant and when i had a scan done when i was 8 weeks preg. it looked like a little bean and they was able to pick up what the heart beat was, but i was not able to hear it..well good luck and i hope it all goes well for you and your husband

 I'm not by any means an expert on this but I think, it will appear very similar to the 6 week scan but a little more developed. I doubt you'll actually hear the heat beat yet, but should be able to see it.
