writes: I met this guy online, we talked everyday on there and then on the phone. After several weeks we met and it was good. We talked here and there, He told me he likes my bubbly personality, i am very attractive and he would like to date me. Well he set up 2 dates and cancelled them at the last minute, then only wants to text and wasn't wanting to talk on the phone but a little here and there. Now he tells me he wanted to meet me, get to know me, nothing more nothing less. says we need to be just friends for awhile, take it one day at a time and we'll get it figured out. i have been very sick for weeks and he says I need to get well and then everything will fall into place. What does all this mean?

reader, anonymous, writes (21 January 2009): i think i might be wrong but i THINK he wants to take it slow or his that kinda of a guy that is playing with ur heart and is trying to control it ..the best thing u can do is ask him who he likes or be open to him.u cant jump into a relationship if theres no friendship first it wont last that way..so just give it some time and if its meant to be then everything will fall into place..but if its not then just let it go
