Hi guys my question is for the girls when me and my wife have sex there is some white thing coming out from her vagina which looks like cheese and it smells very bad it is like small cube things and when she checked with a doctor the doctor told her that its because she is not drinking water. it is not coming out when she pees but only during sex. I don't even see it when I go down on her but when ever there is a penis vagina sex this white thing appears. Any girl experiencing something like this? is this normal(am sure its not) what is this white thing smelling bad ?

A female reader, OhGetReal United States +, writes (27 August 2010):

OhGetReal agony auntIt is probably a yeast infection, it isn't caused by poor hygiene. Yeast live in the vagina all the time, in fact humans have a fair amount of yeast in many areas of their bodies and something like stress, taking antibiotics, immune deficiency from diabetes, colds, etc, can throw off that balance and the yeast over grows in hot wet dark environments (like your ears, too).

If that is what the doctor told her it was then he should have given her and RX for some vaginal suppositories that treat it. The most common one here in the states is called Monistat (but it comes in a generic brand, the druggist should know) and it comes in 3 day treatments, 7 day treatments 1 day treatments, 1 night time treatment, 1 day time treatment, with or without cream for the outer vagina to treat irritation and itching that often accompany it.

Most women have these pesky infections at one time or another in their lifetimes. It's not the end of the world and is highly treatable. Also, eating yogurt with active cultures is supposed to help keep everything yeasty in check, but who knows if that really works...I certainly don't want to eat yogurt ever day, lol.

Any way, a doctor should do a test to properly diagnose her, so what ever he doc says, but your answer doesn't make any sense, drink more water? Then it possibly was not a yeast infection, women's vaginal secretions can be thicker and whiter during certain times of their cycles, but this usually does not have a foul smell, A foul smelling discharge usually means a bacterial infection but there again the doc would have done a culture to determine that, so if she checked out fine, it could just be her normal secretions.

Hope that answered your female plumbing questions.

She needs to see another doctor because the one she is seeing is an idiot. She most likely has a yest infection. That means that there is growth of fungus in her vagina. It happens to many woman. ITs nothing that a special vaginal cream cannot solve within days. Please take her to another doctor.

A female reader, xXJDXx United Kingdom +, writes (26 August 2010):

It sounds to me like your wife has thrush or possibly a bactirial infection.

Thrush is VERY common, and is NOT an STI/STD. It can occur from wearing thongs

washing privates with sented soaps

pregnancy

underwear that is to tight

and even poor hygine

it's hard to pin point the exact cause but it is very easy to treat.

Hope that helped, take care, JD :)
