A female United States age 26-29, *llRiledUp010 writes:

Hey there! I'm 15 years old, (a freshman in high school) and I'm a little stuck on a guy problem. I've been in marching band since May of last year, and we took a trip that involved chaperones. Our team's chaperone was the mother of a senior band member. She pointed him out to us and I felt attracted almost instantly. He's a section leader, respectful, and very generous and kind. I look for that in guys. Recently I decided that I couldn't hide my feelings for him anymore. It's been almost a year anyway! I talked to his ex girlfriend, a junior, and also a member in my section. She offered to help me, so I asked if she could tell him for me. Although, I told her to make it look like she was going behind my back, so I wouldn't seem too shallow for not going up to him myself. I haven't heard back from her yet, since she is rarely on Facebook, but I have seen him in the halls. He blushes when he sees me and his glances toward me are much friendlier. His close friends also smile at me. What does this mean? Did he hear my secret yet? If he did, is he okay with it, or am I just seeing things?

The Realist agony auntIt sounds like he knows and he is interested. Also the friends probably like the idea of you two together and are happy for him. Now you have to go talk to him and get things goings. It's the only step left.

Both of you are probably feeling the same nervousness and it is better to make the first move rather than waiting any longer.
