Hey there ladies, need some valentine gift ideas for a very good "lady friend".

Me and my "lady friend" are really close good friends, have loads in common. I'm not looking for a relationship, and she only just got out of a frustrating 3year relationship.

We're going out as friends. What should I get her? Should I get her anything, a card, a gift? I'm not used to these kinda scenarios. Plus I dont want to come across with the wrong intensions, especially since we're good friends.

What do I do? We're going out to a superb restaurant, perhaps a movie, maybe? but a gift? WAHT DO YOU GUYZ THINK? THANKS A MIL.

I would suggest skipping a card if you really just like her as a friend. Giving a Valentine's card gives the wrong impression. And receiving a "friends" Valentine's card (even though you are in fact just a friend) is always a little dissappointing in my opinion. I recommend some flowers or chocolates, they're always happily received from anyone.

Country Woman agony auntSounds to me that you want to show her your feelings for her so even though you say you are just friends it sounds to me like you would like it to be more when the time is right.

You could always get her a little teddy to say that when she feels sad she can look at him. Give him a name with her and it can always be a jokey gift.

Just be there for your lady friend and if friendship turns to something else then just be honest. Life is too short to waste golden opportunities, your only here once.

smeedle agony auntIf neither of you are more than just good friends then there is no need to get her a card, you dont want her to be your valentine just your good buddy, so relax just thank her for being your friend and enjoy each others company without complicating things, you could on the other hand try and find a friendship card that is not all hearts and flowers.

Have a nice night.
