A female reader, Sweet-thing United Kingdom +, writes (21 September 2007):

Sweet-thing agony auntIf she goes out of her way to come say hi to you. If she calls or e-mails you regularly. If she flirts with you or seems interested in what you have to say. And the best way to ask her out is to just do it. Say, "I have tickets to go see _____ (concert, or movie or whatever) would you like to go with me?"....Or, "Wanna grab a pizza tonight?"....I'm sure if she's interested in you, she'll jump at the chance. Good luck.

A female reader, leanne.od United Kingdom +, writes (21 September 2007):

leanne.od agony auntit all depends really.

some girls are naturally more talkaive and happy around a guy she likes, she'll smile and laugh at your jokes which aren't funny, she'll innocently touch your arm, things like that but then to make it confusing some girls play ignorant to guys and act like they don't give a monkeys about them when they do but think they don't stand a chance.

so the question is, is she making you think that she likes you?

the best thing to do is ask her on a date, out for pizza or the movies, or something alike. if she smiles and says okay, you're in, if she hesitates/laughs or both, she's probably not interested in that way and thinks of you no more than friends.

good luck
