 I believe that the best way to impress is just be yourself. When you put on a front and try to be someone you are not you have to keep this up for the duration.
Just be polite, confident, and most important be who you really are.

Put it this way, money and education and looks will only go so far in impressing a guy. All you need is charm. Shoo, I have told guys on the very first night that I was absolutely broke (what an impression right?) and they have fallen madly in love with me. See what I'm saying?
It's how you make them feel that's more important than trying to impress them with who you are and what you have done. If you make a guy feel good about himself and feel happy in your company, he will be a lot more impressed than if you went to Harvard or have been sky diving or whatever you could say to try to impress him.
However all that stuff, education, money, interests is very important for you to have and aspire to just for your own sake and success in life. But these are not things you should use to impress a guy and they certainly provide no guarantee that he will like you any more or less.
