Laura1318 agony auntYou could be having Bleparitis.. I am not a medical person and you need to go see your eye doctor or a skin specialist .

You may try to wash it with warm salt water.

Yes, see a doctor. It does sound like some sort of infection.

Tisha-1 agony auntSee a doctor ASAP. You may wind up with longterm damage to your eyes or tear ducts and lose part or all of your sight. This is not something to try home remedies to fix. See a doctor ASAP. Good luck.

no its not an infection its just something that appears if you dont clean make up off, i've tried: vaseline, baby oil, baby shampoo and warm water. Even just not touching it, I've stopped wearing makeup now, its been a few months and still no change. I just need a cure

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (16 May 2010):

If you're using make-up, or anyone else's make-up, this could be a reaction, or it could be that you have an infection. Warm water gently patted on your eyelids can help. But if it's bad, it might be better to go to the doctor.
