You dont say how old you both are but I suspect you are both very young as he sounds very immature. He is probably embarrassed, although I dont know why as he is the one that ended it and not you so he doesnt need to be bitter. Perhaps he thought you looked great and now regrets it?
In any case I should move on as he is not worth it!

you'll want him more for it.
everyone will tell you this and it is exremely hard but try nd get over him nd if you can't eventually you will.
and the best way to get over someone is by finding someone else that is WORTHWHILE.
