A female , anonymous writes:

I went back to my country in Dec last year and dated this guy I had known from childhood. He had just come out of a relationship so we both weren't expecting anything to come out of it.

I went back to the US to study and we kept commnicating via phone, email, etc and things started to develop. However he says that he wants to take things slow and not mess up what we have since he is still recovering from the breakup, but wants us to have a serious talk in about the future of this relationship when he can see me face to face in Nov when I go back.

He still wants to maintain a friendship with his girlfriend who wants to be in a relationship with him. He finally told her that friendship was all he could offer her.

I don't know if I am a rebound but after 7 months communication on a deep level, is it too soon to expect him to make up his mind? Lost in love
