writes:So theres this guy at school. Hes hilarious, cute, sweet and fun to be around. But the problem is, my best friend and I both like him. We know we both do, and he flirts with both of us! I don't know who he likes more, and if either one of us end up going out with him the other one will be crushed. I don't know what to do! Hes the first guy I have met in a loooonnnng time that I could see myself being with. What do I do? Please help!

The first thing I will ask is, is this situation really worth losing your best friend over? Because if you think that is what might happen...well, it would be a shame to lose your friendship, wouldn't it?
I think it might be a good idea for you both to stay away from this guy a little bit. I know this will be hard, because you both like him, but if he likes one of you then I'm sure he will make the effort to seek you out, and then you will know who he likes.
But if he continues to flirt with both of you, then he obviously doesn't want to stick with one girl. He likes having the both of you.
This is a tough situation, but I think it depends on how important your relationship with your friend is. There is that saying that lovers come and go, but friends are for life...it may or may not be true, but just think carefully about this. Good luck. x

Cos tbh, friends are for life and boys come and go. Imagine if your best friend gets with him, how will you feel then? You'll resent her for getting him, and vice versa if you get him. Just picture this a few months down the line, hes dumped you and you dont have your best friend for a shoulder to cry on. Its only gonna end up in tears love! He's not worth it if hes playing you both along anyway! Enjoy your friendship and being young, dont think about boys!
