A female Ireland age 36-40, anonymous writes:

So I'm not sure if I've just been on a date or not, and I really like this guy and need some advice, please:)

First ?date after 9 months of being single, after splitting with ex-bf of 8 years after he cheated on me.

Guy at work who's been texting me, met up today for first time and had lunch, then he suggested a film. Held my hand in the film. Kiss on the cheek after he gave me a lift home. I had a great time, think he's lovely!

Have arranged to meet up again on Monday.

So I'm not sure if today was a date? Or friends meeting up? And what Monday is? I'd love to date him...how do I judge if he feels the same?

Thanks :)

I don't know what constitutes a date on the emerald Isle, but here in American that is totally a date. He held you hand during the movie and kissed him on the cheek. Total date.
