She ended things out of the blue because she wanted to go to school across the country, long story short she's back here now and wants to be friends. She asked me to come eat with her a few times but I was busy (I really was lol) but finally we met for lunch, didn't talk about the breakup at all really just about the past year ( this happend about 18 months ago). Well I know it's kind of ridiculous for me not to be 100% over her by now but honestly I'm not and would be open to giving it a second chance because I loved her more than any other gf in the past. Well she was talking to me pretty regular before we had lunch and shes kind of slacked off now. What do yall think is up? She just testing to see if she still has me and laughing at me? lol. Or could it be a step into getting back together?

reader, anonymous, writes (15 June 2012): This is verified as being by the original poster of the questionThanks for the reply, I guess I should also add that when I unfriended her on facebook and deleted her number, I got a long message saying that she was sorry about the way she left and didn't want to loose my friendship. IDK its so hard to look at the situation without feelings getting involved. I think I'm going to ask her out to dinner one night and ask a few questions that I have wanted straight up answers for in the last year. It'll go one direction at that point lol

And I don't think she did it to laugh at you.
I think she might not have as strong feelings as you do or she is not sure how to get things re-started. Hard to say really. Since she was the one who broke up, I would assume the ball is in her court.
