Was I being rejected?

okay my problem is that i like my friend Miguel I've liked him for a while...everyday he sends me text messages..and the he tells me that I'm pretty n cool...We always told eachother that we would hug when ever we saw eachother...so a couple days ago we saw eachother and well i was too nervous to give him a hug...so after i left he sent me text messages to go back n give him a hug..but i didnt go...well yesterday i told him that i liked him and he said why then he said thanks...then today he told me to go to his house to see him so i went then when i got there he told me " i didnt think that you were gonna show up i was just kidding about you coming here" I told him " i could leave if you want" then he said nah im glad you came....so i told him that i liked him and he didnt say anything he just looked away...then he said so do you want a hug and i said no...well before i left i asked for a hug so we hugged n i left...my question is ----Is it rejection when you tell someone that you have feelings for them but they dont say anything????? What is his deal??....what should i do??

This guy is a bit weird. He needs to stop messing around with you. Why would he ask you to come over as a joke?

Doesn't sound funny to me. More embarassing than funny.

It sounds like a rejection honestly.. becuase he didn't accept it. But you really shouldn't spend too much time hurting or stressing over this boy.

You should of course talk to him. If you have the courage to tell him you like him, then you should be ok to ask him if he likes you.

If he says "no," then tell him to please stop playing weird games. If he says "yes," then woohoo.
