writes:OK, this has been bothering me lately...I have a boyfriend, that from the begining of 6th grade, I've known him. We had an assignment, did it, and we still hung out. I helped him with Math, he helped me with Science. I secretly liked him, but I was unsure if he liked me. So I waited for the dance, to get the courage to ask him to it. He called, and I went "Uhhh...I have a question..." and he goes "No! Wait!" so I waited, and I hear "Will you go to the stepup with me???!!!???" H easked me. Now he had been over before, for projects and homework. Well, I was talking to my Mom, and she said "So he finally asked you..." and it turns out that "my Mom could tell he liked me... he was always there for me...." and yadda yadda yadda. So we went steady, went to the dance and such. But he seemed to be happier when he was around me, than when he was single. And he always asks me over, and is there for me to cry on. My question is: Was he always wanting me, and I never noticed? Reply to this Question

 It really seems that he did want you before but don't feel too guilty that you didn't notice. Sometimes we don't notice or ignore when other people like us like that because we don't want to get our hopes up.
Now, just enjoy your relationship with him. It sounds like such a sweet relationship that might last for a long time. Just remember to care for him and let him respect you. Good luck!
