My mate has just had a break up which he found really difficult and I try to comfort him but all the time I keep thinking about how much I want to go out with his ex girlfriend.

What can I do to get the girl and not lose my mate? What if I ask her out and then she says no; then I will have lost a really good mate without making any progress with the girl. What should I do?

personally, i would just forget the girl, even after a few months say of them breaking up, your mate will still be hurt if you go out with his ex... its some sort of rule that mates can't go with mates ex's. if your mate is important to you, forget her chick x
