Hiya,

I know its fairly early to be thinking about gifts for valentines day but I'd like some of your opinions with regards to my gift idea..

Its mine and my boyfriend's first Valentines Day together and I really want to get him something different, which none of his ex's have ever given him! lol.

I was searching online and came across a website 'buyagift.com'. One of the gift ideas on this site was to have a sexy (but classy) photoshoot and then give the photo to your other half!

I was just wondering, if your partner gave you a sexy, professional photo of themselves as a gift, what would you think? Would you like it??

Any opinions are welcome, but I would like to hear what guys would think of this idea?

Thank you! xx

As I sit here, right in front of me hanging on the wall are two photo's of my other half which were done in the manner you describe. Ostrich feathers and all - very nice indeed. I'm guessing he'd be delighted, but just make sure having them done won't break the bank. You could be looking at well over £50 for each framed photo, although I haven't seen what your website has to offer.

Alternatively a bottle of his favourite tipple would literally go down well and would most probably be less expensive. It all depends on your budget I suppose. Remember that it's the thought that counts, but it's a great idea. If you have it done, keep a copy for yourself, put it away at the back of your wardrobe and in 30 years time you'll look back on how gorgeous you used to be now that you have a few wrinkles!

Fee-Fee agony auntI do love Valentine's Day, but it drives me mad when all you get is a bunch of flowers and a box of chocolates ... rather lacks in imagination, don't you think!

Your photo shoot sounds like a wicked idea - what man wouldn't want to see his girl in a professional photo shoot, dressed in her finest and looking fab!

If I were a chap, they would be framed and on the wall faster than you can wrap them in heart covered paper :o)

Most places will do couples shoots too - for little or no extra cost. Why not surprise him with a shoot-for-two so he can get in on the pampering too!

Don't forget that Valentine's Day is for you both as a couple though - it was my first Valentine's Day last year with my boyfriend. We decided to pool our present funds and booked a weekend away to be wined and dined without either of us having to do the washing up :o)

There are some amazing ideas at www.ineedpampering.com that you can both do - just for something a little out of the ordinary, and for what you get, the prices aren't bad either!

Good luck, and most importantly, have fun!
