To treat my husband: spend a lot on a day, or pick something that won't break the bank?

My boyfriend and I have been together for about 3 months now and I wanted to do something special for him. He works really hard and finds it hard to chill out so I thought of either taking him to a day spa or just for a massage at a good salon in my town. Should i push the boat out and spend a lot on a day, or do you think its just as nice to go for a massage together that wont break the bank for half an hour? Thanks guys!! xxx

smeedle agony auntgive up the idea of a spa, massage etc.

Its his relaxing time and his treat, so ask him what he would like, quad biking, rallying and paintballing are all fun, yuck to the massage

I think its a balance of spending enough to help him relax. What's more important is choosing the correct things to make him feel relaxed (I'd go with the spa, that does sound nice).

Although the hr massage does sound nice as well. Hmm. I don't really know him as well as you ofc so I guess go with what you think would be better to relax him.
