This break is going on too long, now I am getting mixed signals and mixed feelings....

ok me and my girl have been together for about a year and some change and its going good and one day she tells me how she misses me but 3days later she wants a break for 2weeks and she says its going to make us stronger in the fututre so i was like ok cool. 2weeks later nothing and now we are almost at 5weeks of being on break and she tells her friends and mine that we are together one week then the other that we are not..im like what the heck? i know im the only guy but im not seeing and advancements...i used to really love her but now its like i dnt even think of her as a girlfriend anymore..she doesnt talk to me or anything and yet if we get a moment alone she'll wanna hug and cuddle...ive thought about breaking up but i want to see if this '"break" was worth it..what should i do?
