Question - (27 February 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 1 March 2008)
A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

OK so I noticed things have been getting wierd between my bpyfriend and I. Long periods of akward silence, him living me to go hang out wit the boys, puuling away when I go to kiss him, and several other things of that nature.

As it is we really only see each other on weekends because I work during the day and by the time I get home he is leaving to go to school. SO anyway when I asked him if he felt the akwardness he said yeah and that it was because I was too clingy and anti-social.

When I told my friends this they were all like does he know the you we know? I mean as it is I only moved to the town I'm currently in a little less than a year ago and he is really the only person I know around here because Im always working. Don't understand I give him the world.

When he is great I couldn't ask for a better man in my life but when we get in these funks he is a totally different guy not even close to the man I fell in love with. Help!!!!

Laura1318 agony auntAsk him to be more specific and cite examples of what he considers as clingy and anti social. He may have a different concept from yours.

You should have more friends and have some social life instead of just working all the time and no time for him...maybe, that could be the problem between you .

He feels neglected...
