The Second Date - What do guys notice most about a woman physically? What is most attractive?

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hello, Dear Cupid world. Though I write anonymously, I am one of your own and have posted questions in the past. For the first time, I am writing a rather POSITIVE question! Yippee! Here goes:

So, on Tuesday, I went on an awesome first date. It was super fun once the ice was broken during the middle of dinner and, by the end of the night, we started to become more and more flirtatious with one another. It ended in a hug, but we kept having this lingering eye contact and moments where I know we were "feeling" it, while both wondering if we should go in for it or wait. I'm a pretty reserved individual. So, of course, I chickened, but that same night he messaged me, asking for another date. So, I know this is bound for success. Haha! :-D

Our next date is to a local museum and I'm a little confused about.... what to wear! Of course, I know that I should wear something comfortable and clean that I feel confident in and some shoes that I can walk a bit in, but I'm naturally left wondering how much do men pay attention to us ladies, our clothes, our make-up, and our hair and what exactly it is that most of them seem to agree on and like. I've always heard that natural make-up and doe eyes are favorites and that smokey eyes are sexy, but hey I don't have a wiener, I wouldn't know!

So, Dear Cupid male readers, if you were on a second date with a lovely lady like myself to a museum, what would be an attractive look? Should it verge on sexy or cute? Is a little black dress too fancy? Are jeans or shorts too casual? How much skin--if any--would you like to see? (No hooker club clothes suggestions, please! I try to be classy and relatively modest!) How about hair and make-up? Less is more? Smokey and sultry? Curly or straight? Does any of this matter? haha!

What do you guys notice most about a woman's appearance while first dating (Besides the obvious: BOOBS!) and what gets you amped for another date? (Besides her personality, which I hope is what comes first! :-D)

This is verified as being by the original poster of the question

I know that what men like, as far as physical attributes are concerned, is very subject. However, I just meant more in terms of clothing, make-up, hairstyles, and what not. Of course, this is subjective, too. I just wanted some ideas to get my mental gears grinding, but I definitely agree with considering what he wore on the last date. That's a good idea and he was pretty casual. So, a dress would be way too fancy. Thanks!

And thanks especially to the first poster. I'm going with a dressy tank top that emphasizes my shape, but a cute cardigan to keep the skin to a minimum. I think it looks smoking. :-)

As long as you make a good effort without going overboard on the sexiness, you should be fine. I like cute, myself. With a hint of sexiness. Sexy would be something that fits your waist and boobs snuggly without pushing them up. No need for much skin if we can see the shape :)
