A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

okay so there is this guy and he told everyone of my friends that he liked me/loved me/would never get over me. he didnt know that i really liked him too but he knew i was attracted to him (we wanted to hook up) but since he told my friends, he hasnt done anything! he said hes just scared to do/say anything but hes not usually like that at all. hes like a player sort of but very very sweet. im afraid hes using this as an excuse not to do anything with me,(like start a relationship or try to date a little)but why would he tell people all this stuff he felt if he wasnt going to do anything about it? and i want to let him no that i really like him too (i havent obviously told him, just hints)but i dont know how to do it. please help!
