is this True?

I have just returned from a lovely cruise and on there was a member of the cruise staff/entertainment who does things like bingo/games etc in the day time and then sings and dances at night for the show-he was always looking at me - however innocent - but seemed reluctant and nervous to say anything when anyone else was nearby - I was told by another passenger that he would possibly get the sack if he was thought to be "hob nobbing" with one of the passengers on board?

How true is this - anyone know?

Does the lead man in the show have his own cabin or does he share??

DrPsych agony auntI have a friend who works in that industry. It is a big no-no to have any relations with guests. Most staff are on fixed term contracts that are renewed subject to performance. In fact members of staff are often close with each other (being thrown together through circumstance etc). Most staff share cabins based on them being on the same shifts through the night and day. He may have fancied you and he may have been admiring but it would be hand's off if he likes his job. If he did act on his impulses then you could be sure that he is acting on those impulses with every single lady that steps on the boat. He would be also risking his end of cruise bonus which is what keeps most staff on board in the long run.

I used to date a crew member on a cruise ship - it's considering 'tampering with the cargo' and very frowned upon. Even if you made a move, he would be unlikely to want to jeopardise his position in case something went wrong and it reflected badly on him. The best thing you could do in such a situation is give him your contact details and wait and see if he contacted you after you left the ship.

I'm not sure about staff in the show, but generally they shared cabins unless quite important.
