why did you stop dating before? was it his choice or yours? hes probaly scared and shy, asking someone out on a date is scarey! be brave ask him if you can, if not make it clear that your into him and would say yes if he were to ask you out

 this is something you need to know for yourself... he may be shy... so try sending him a few signals... touch your hair occasionally whilst you talk to him, make eye contact, smile and try to put him at ease. if you have the confidence, go up and talk to him.... whats the worst that could happen?
