reader, anonymous, writes (2 February 2010): It took me quite a few tries before i could do it. I found i had to practise by lying on the bed with my knees up and relaxing then inserting it. If you arent relaxed enough it can be difficult to do. So try and relax if you can.

 Being able to relax is the key. Many find that having a leg up on the toilet, bath or bed is helpful.

You probably just need to relax more. If you don't understand how to put it in...read the directions, it comes with them and even has pictures! If you're not using tampons with an applicator, then you definitely should get the kind with an applicator.

reader, anonymous, writes (1 February 2010): Don't panic, it took me several attempts before I could! Try sitting down and pointing the tampon to your lower back, just where your spine ends. If that doesn't work then try putting one leg on the toilet seat and have another go. And RELAX! The more you worry the more you tense up which makes it harder.
