writes:I know this isnt love advice but it is necessary. I have recently been feeling sick/nausea, always tired, i have lost my appetite and have a metallic taste in my mouth. Not to mention the hair on my legs seems to have a life of its own and is growing really fast. I have had unprotected sex with my boyfriend but i am on the pill. I couldnt be pregnant, could i, or am i just ill?Please help me! x

 I'm a dentist, and I definitely suggest you see your doctor. A metallic taste could be a number of things, but most of the time suggests something underlying. Therefore, you definitely need to be checked out

Go to your GP and find out.
I've just asked my husband (who is a paramedic) and he says a metallic taste is a symptom of several illnesses. That's a bit of a worrying thing.
It could well be that you have picked up an STD from your boyfriend, or it could be more serious.
Pop along and see your GP, he / she will sort you out and make sure it's nothing nasty.

We can't see you or examine you, we are not medical doctors, if whe speculate what is wrong we are doing you a great injustice.
Make an appointment with a doctor and do it soon, you sound ill to me.
