 "Hey, would you ilke to go to _______ with me on Saturday?" Smile, be brave and don't worry if he doesn't say 'yes!' instantly.
You could lead up to that question in the weeks before with a lot of hinting about how much you'd like to see a certain film or go to an interesting place. Ask him if he's been to that place or if he has any interest in seeing the film.... basically give him the idea that you really want to go and... wait.... and .... see.... if ... he picks up on the obvious hinting.
