Should I take one more chance?

Question - (27 October 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 27 October 2010)
A male United States age 36-40, *tj writes:

I asked a girl to a game for Tuesday. She excitedly agreed. Everything seemed set but then she remembered she had to do something for her sister, and said she'd lemme know. I found out that I told her the wrong day for the game the next day, so I told her the new date. She said she had a school thing to go to but asked what time the game was. I told her, and she asked how we were getting there. I asked later if we were still on,. and she said probably not since she had gotten home late from a same event as the one she'd have the day of the game. It was a legit excuse, she wasn't lying. Do I try again?

I think you can afford to give her one more chance, then let her do some running or just not bother with her. the timing here just didn't work out when she realized she had to do something, then when you realized you'd got the date wrong, chances are she'd already made plans. You can afford to give her another chance.
