A female reader, tennisstar88 United States +, writes (25 August 2010):

tennisstar88 agony auntDo you know for a fact that she likes you? Note, that if you guys date and say things turned sour leaving you broken up, then it will make the work atmosphere very awkward. Now if you think you can handle that you have one more problem, she's taken. I say respect the fact that she has a boyfriend. You don't want to put her in a bind where she has to choose between you and her boyfriend because you may not like the outcome. The only other thing you can do is tell her how you feel and if she breaks up with her boyfriend to let you know. Then you can play the waiting game. Don't ask her to cheat, or for her to break up with him that's not fair to her. I would leave this one alone and keep it as friends..it may work out in your favor or you could find someone who is single to be interested in.
