Should I just keep acting this way until I never see him again?

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My best buddy he has always been very nice to me at school. He's always nice to me on the bus. I really didnt talk to him much today and always act like myself when hes around. I always sit in front of him on the bus and he always puts his arms over the seat. It bugs me but I don't care. When I look over the seat and smile he smiles back. Today i said when i graduate hes going to miss me. Then I reminded him of all the times we had together last year because I feel like I'm losing him. So I touch his hair and he fixes it, I told him he had something in his hair and that i was getting it cause I'm his buddy. He smiles then I talk about his dimples and letting know I respect him. He just smiles the whole time and I always make him smile. Should I just keep acting this way until I never see him again? Sure I have little feelings for him but I'm trying not to make him uncomfortable.
