Should I have accepted his marriage proposal?

I am 45yrs old and still a virgin. Had met someone who was introduced by a friend and i kinda like him,he is 57 widowed w four children. After a few months of constant communication he decided to proposed marriage and much to my excitement i answered him "YES" without further questions...Do you think my decision was right? after which he asked me to sign up a pre-nuptial agreement in order to fulfill his kid's request...Pls. help me with my decision because I don't want that sooner or later i'll be the cause of conflict in his family..
