writes:I've known this guy for 3 years. He helped me when my bf of 2 years broke up with me, and has made it clear that he likes me alot. And I adore him. He lives 5 hours away, but he's gonna come spend the summer with me. But when I text him, he doesn't always text me back, so I try to leave him alone for several days, but it's so hard. Should I try to forget him and find a guy who can be with me all year long and who wants to talk to me? Or go with my heart and give this guy a chance?

reader, anonymous, writes (24 December 2009): If you wanted to, you could, but you could just find someone that makes you happey and you like to be around them but it should be someone you truly care about and if you want to know if you should find someone to stay with for about a year - it really doesn't matter because no one lasts forever and you should just find someone you are happy with and cares about them and that you like to be around and stuff.

 i would talk to him about it.. and go if youre too busy not to talk to me.. then maybe i should be searching for someone who actually cares.. but only do that if he doesn't text you back for a couple days.. the guy might like you a lot ?
