Should I cut my "friends" off?

Question - (10 September 2015) 1 Answers - (Newest, 10 September 2015)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

So I've been friends with these girls for almost 6 years now but we started to hang out less once both of them became mothers (I'm not) and we got jobs. However, my two friends are still close and hang out regularly. So one of the friends invited me out with them because it had been a while (2 years) since we all hung out. I agreed and we met up but once we met up they acted like they weren't happy to see me. They also had some inside conversations as if I wasn't there which I thought was rude. If I did talk, I had to initate a conversation first and they didn't really ask about my life and what I had been up to. It was really awkward and I left the meeting feeling like wtf.. like you invited me out just to be rude and mean? So should I just let them friends go and move on with my life?

That's a very sucky situation. I would say yes, you should drop them and move on as there's no point hanging around people that bring you down or make you feel awful. You want to be surrounded by positive vibes and good company.
