A male United States age 41-50, *ameonF writes:

Okay, this is a... predicament, so i will remain anonymous for obvious reasons- Here's the story: I recently traveled out of state to visit aunts, uncles, cousins, and so on... I was hanging out with one of my male cousins, when two girls walked through the room. One of them i recognized as my cousin right away, the other one- GOD, she was a knockout! i mean absolutely b-e-a-utiful! I turned to my male cousin and asked him who she was, and he told me that she was my cousin, too!!! Over the course of the vacation, i got to know her- the personality of my dreams!! she is smart, witty, and laughs at my stupid jokes!! but i kept having thoughts about her- i couldn't get her off my mind, and a few months later, i still can't! I think i am in love- please give advice!! (No offense to religious people, but no bible- thumpers telling me that i'll go to hell for this)

A male reader, anonymous, writes (30 December 2009):

If you didn't even know who she was sounds like she's either 2-3 cousin, adopted, or some such. (probably not even blood relation of any sort..??)

Doubt seriously it's against the law anywhere in the US given the above circumstances.

Best thing to do is communicate with her and find out if she feels the same toward you.

Pay no attention to those who whine "incest". 1-2-3 removed cousins or related by marriage is not incest.

Only important thing is she whether she sees you as you see her.

hameleon89 agony auntWell you did right thing to go anonymous, it's really when you read it a strange situation. In fact, i do'nt think someone will advice you: go for it, you saw her once in a lifetime so jump on her.our world is crazy but not at this point, we evoluted because we think rational and have "morals" that prevent us from doing stupid, things.(although there still are wierdos).May be in the 17th century, we could get married with cousins but not now.

So calm down, and try finding another GF.
