A female United States age 30-35, *t-7 writes:

My freshmen yr I moved to a new town and new school. I didn't know anyone at the school so that sucked. But I got to know this boy that got my interest. I actually meet him at a party and we started talking. We ended up messing around and later hooked up. We were together my whole freshmen yr but at the end of the yr I found out that I was moving. We were both sad but we both agreed to stay with each other. Until high school was out and then we could see each other. My sophomore we didn't get to see each other what so ever becuse I wasn't allowed to have a bf. That summer we got to see each other but only for a couple of days. My junior yr started and we got to see each other more and more. I told him I was so excited that we have been together for two yrs going onto three yrs in a couple more months. He said not really we only really been together for a yr.and I said what, why do say that. He said because we got to see each other for a whole yr and not as much the other yr. After he said that I don't know what to think about our relationship.

No matter what , you should respect his opinions and accept it even if you do not agree with him . Move on .
