you are only 12. kids play games. she probably did it just to see if you would ask. maybe she thought you fancied her and just wanted to know for sure. it's possible that she thought she wanted to go out with you then changed her mind but that's not likely. if she wanted to go out with you she should have just asked. it was very immature to do what she did. i agree with the other answer. get over her and move on. you've got your life ahead of you. there'll be plenty more girls i'm sure

Her behaviour should tell you she's too immature to be dating and she is the type of girl, you don't want to date. Some girls in your age range, do this. They treat other people as a joke. Don't sweat it-strike this up as a life lesson and move onto other girls your age, that are kinder and treat others with respect. good luck
