She got mad at me because I had to leave her party. Should I contact her?

A male , anonymous writes:

I was invited to a going away party for a former co-worker. She invited me.

At the party, she suggested that we get together after she started her new job. She approached me when I was alone to suggest that we get together.

Due to a family conflict, I couldn't stay long. When I told, I was leaving. She seemed a bit ticked off and she barely said good-bye.

She wasn't that way with others who had left before.

It's been a month. Should I contact her.

A month eh? [sigh] You can take the 'big' risk of buying 99 stems of some sort of flower of 365 hand folded stars in a bottle, then show up at her work near closing time and ask her out impulsively. If she rejects you, then so be it. If not, well, obviously! 8]

She was going to totally mack on you. Consequence free environment and all that...

Invite her for coffee and see if you can catch that spark again.
