 Its normal to get a little jealous but I would try not to let it get out of hand.
Try simply just talking to him about it and tell him what you are feeling.
You don't have to look cool just be relaxed about it and honest but try to avoid verbally attacking him if you get annoyed.
Sometimes when you meet someone you make jokes about little things you notice. it could well be something like that and mean nothing.
There are members of the opposite sex that I know and have nick names for but I would never cheat on my partner.
