 Okay, a good question to ask! Anal sex is where your male partner will enter you in the behind! At first, if you haven't put anything of the sort up there before - it can be sometimes painful, and quite uncomfortable as it needs to stretch to fit your partner's size. The man's penis doesn't get 'poo' all over it (not in my experience anyway!).
As for the 'best' wait to do is entirely up to you and your partner. But most people tend to find that when the receiver is on all fours, if she/he almost lays her front on the floor, so the angle of penetration is a lot higher. Your partner will find it easier that way.

It's very important that your boyfriend is very slow and gentle and doesn't push you, otherwise you could tear. When I first did it I made sure I was in full control, we did it lying on our sides which is better than you lying on your front as you'll have more control this way. I took my bf's dick it my hand and guided it in at the pace I wanted. You really need to relax to let it in. It didn't get any poo on him but you shouldn't do it if you're going to need a poo soon. Using lube should make it more comfortable. Use a condom unless you're sure he has no STD's, as it's easier to catch things from this kind of sex. The first time I did it, I got a bit sore so I stopped doing it before my bf came, and finished him off another way. Don't feel you can't stop if you're getting sore.
