A female age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hiya, last night i had sex for the first time with my boyfriend. Im already confused!

On two occasions we had to use a new condom because it wouldnt stay on - is this normally what happens?

Also, as it was my first time i assumed it would be really painful, but it wasnt! However i did feel a pain inside, like i constantly needed to pee or something... is this normal..? It made it really uncomfortable and i couldnt carry on for longer than 10 minutes.

any answers/advice would be fab! thanks :)

Odds agony auntGood for you and your boyfriend. I hope you two enjoy exploring this side of yourselves.

Anyway, for your questions. The condoms may be the wrong size, or you might be putting them on wrong. Google some instructional videos and watch them together. It's something you want to get right. Don't be embarrassed; if watching a couple of instructional videos is embarassing, you shouldn't be having sex.

If you've had an active life (soccer, gymnastics, horseback riding), you may have long since broken your hymen, which would diminish the first-time pain. I've also heard some women say that G-spot stimulation can sometimes feel like needing to pee, but obviously I'm just going on their word there. Sounds normal, though.
