Problem with my foreskin, how can I fix it without circumcision?

A male , anonymous writes:

I have a problem with my foreskin, I can't manage to pull it below my head when erect (not a problem when non-erect). I can manage to get it about half way before it hurts quite badly. I read a few websites about people with similar problems and learned that the condition was called phimosis (?).

Is there anything I can do to solve the problem? I'd prefer not to have a circumcision (as most people suggest) but would be willing to go to the doctor if absolutely necessary, I don't think my problem's so bad I need medical attention to be honest. Is there any methods I could try by myself to fix it?

Thanks a lot.

Highland Help agony auntYes you need to go and visit your doctor and discuss what can be done, he will have most likely dealt with this before. I do not like the idea of circumsism either and I am sure it can be sorted. You may also try the pulling every day and see if it improves any.

I had the same problem. I basically just tried to pull it down every day for a few minutes. After about 6 months, it goes down no big deal. Still stays up most of the time, even when hard, but if you pull on it a little it goes down without hurting. It does kind of hurt when you touch the exposed head, but that probably just takes getting used to also. So just pull on it every day for a bit. You may not notice progress, but just be patient.
