When he has dated you for at least three months, and asked you to be his girlfriend, and told you he is only seeing you, no one else, and told you he loves you, and he spends every Friday and/or Saturday night with you.... and you want to... THEN he gets to sleep with you. NOT before. make him wait. If he waits...he is serious. If he just wants sex... he won't wait.

 OP,Your playing with fire here!how long have you known this guy?What if you tell him your not ready for sex until you get married,will he still stick around?Everyone has a past,and if he has realised his mistakes and is making amends and is now respecting people and their relationships,then that's good! But if he's still the guy who sleeping around with women then you have to be alert!not saying watch him like a hawk,but his actions would tell you what he really wants!its not the words but the actions that tell you about the other person!Good luck
