writes:Okay well 9 months ago i met this guy online. we kinda became cyber gf and bf. Well today out of the blue he told me he met someone....this is the second time this has happend to me( first he was a friend in real life not online) ... its crushing me. the worst thing is i wasnt even expecting it. I dont know what to do . ive never felt like this about anyone before. Please dont judge me - i just need some advice on how to get over it please. i have guys that are friends yea but i never liked anyone as much as i liked him :(

I've always felt that online people, unless you talk on cam every day looking and feeling grotty, talk on the phone a lot and are happy talking about all of your bad points, are so much easier to like a lot because in your mind, you take what you are given and you form it into your 'ideal partner'. It's not real, it's just what you want them to be and hope you might find in someone! Noones ever well and truly honest on the internet when it comes to annoying habits and their terrible social skills in reality. I think you should enjoy time with people in the real world, you'll find it's just as easy to find someone to flirt with and get comfortable with. Especially at your age, with school friends or whatnot. Go out and have fun, you've got all the time in the world to develop crushes on people! This ones not gonna be the last.

But you don't really know this person. You don't get to know how someone is over MSN or Facebook. Not because he is bad, but because people act different talking from a computer or on the phone. Maybe in person you don't find him so attractive, or he is shy. It is VERY easy to be nice from a computer screen. You should not care too much about his words, it is not hard to tell people what they want to hear. It's not a big deal, focus in ur hot guy friends, their abs, and flirt with them. I bet they are nice ;) Good luck. ALWAYS REMEMBER: You cannot love someone you have never met
