You help ask out this guy for your friend and he turns out to like her, they go out. Or you help her and he doesn't like her, then you gotta wait till she gets over him..or finds a new crush.
You could be sneaky and ask him out for yourself but you lose your friendship.
Doesn't look too good for you. You're not sure if he likes either of you. Help her ask him out then see what happens. Keep your friend, at your age guys/crushes are a dime a dozen.
