 Hug is Ok. But if I don't like the woman to feel anything towards me I would try to avoid. Otherwise I will just reciprocate.

 Yes, personally i would like a hug from a woman i was not yet having a romantic relationshiop with, i think it shows you hold no barriers, and is a nice token of affection too.

reader, anonymous, writes (1 January 2008): I don't think I'd be bothered either way. If I didn't want it to happen I wouldn't offend her by pushing her away, but on the other hand I wouldn't encourage it. I don't really see it as a big deal anyway!
