Need a sexy costume idea to show off boyfriend's progress.

My boyfriend and I are going to a history department party with a costume theme of famous couples. Costumes can be somewhat sexy but not X rated. It is mostly faculty members, graduate students, and some undergrad history majors and their significant others. My boyfriend has been doing this intense kettle bell workout and he has the cutest arm muscles now and you can see his tummy muscles. I am looking for a costume idea that will show his upper body off. I asked him about Aladdin and Jasmine and he vetoed it because of the little hat Aladdin wears. He said he would do a gladiator but that is not part of a couples theme. I have a budget of $100. The prize for best couple is $50, so really this is just for fun and to make my female colleagues jealous. He knows what I am up to and does not mind. Any ideas?
