I've been worried for the past few days. I've hd my period since March of '07 and I was 11 and now I'm 13. My periods have already regulated, I think. My cycle is about 23 days. The last time I had my period was June 3rd and I was supposed to have it in the end of June. Its been 11 days and I'm worried! What could be wrong? I haven't had sex, I'm not stressed or anything. and I usually ovulate for about 5 days and it's been going on for 10 days!! Is this okay? I'm really worried! What could be oh so wrong? Please, help!

starfairy agony auntThe littlest things can affect it, you might be a bit stressed and not know it, diet, excercise, all kinds of things could affect it.

Plus, but don't quote me, I think in the first few years after you start your period, things aren't exactly clockwork, think irregularity is common.

Speak to your doc/school nurse/mom...

A reader, anonymous, writes (9 July 2008):

Ermm not necessarily. I've heard some of the girls - they spoke REALLY loudly by the way - and even one of my teachers say that they used to miss periods, have one constant for 2 weeks then 2 weeks and some really weird stuff I chose not to remember.

I just felt it was wise.

If you REALLY stressed then I suggest you go to a doctor but in all seriousness I don't think its anything serious. I think its just irregular.

Some people stop there periods as they could have lost a dramatical amount of weight, changing their periods.

Another cause coud be stress

By going to your GP he or she should be able to tell you whats wrong.
