writes:Im mixed up at the the moment.I finished with my ex because he didn't want to live with me and my children after being together for 3 years but he still txts me to meet up.I met another man who has one son where my ex has never had kids...and he has strong feelings for me and i get the impression that he would want to set up home together,the problem is,even though im quite keen on him i still have feelings for my ex,what shall i do?

reader, anonymous, writes (3 October 2006): I think you need to try and forget about your ex. It sound to me like he's just using you. As for this other guy he may really like you, but if you don't feel the same then why would you be thinking about setting up home with him? wouldn't you just be using him? Are you just with him cuz you don't want to be single? Maybe he's not the one for you either. Why not wait until you meet someone who you really love and who loves you. Then you may actually have a relationship that works!
