Your sexual inexperience, as well as his, is an issue. Get some books on sexual activity, read them, and work on it together.
Communicate with each other about your needs.

 The problem is almost certainly that most women cannot orgasm from penetration alone. Only about 25% can. If you want to make sex more enjoyable, work on how he can stimulate you in other ways, like oral sex or with his fingers. You can also add in your own fingers during sex. Most women just can't have orgasms during sex. It has nothing to do with him being big or not.
